What about this?

Good Morning, afternoon, evening everyone!! I hope everyone is doing well. I have been busy brain storming (not an easy task for me) and I have been trying to come up with an idea that is not yet on etsy. To try and corner a new market, blah, blah, blah. Anyway. Here is my first idea.

What if you could order an aline dress in any color you wanted and add your own art or your childs to it and have them wear art? Here is my concept. You choose the size and color of the dress, I cut it out and ship it to you, you decorate anyway you want, fabic paint, fabric markers, tyedye, (they even have fabric spray paint now), stencil, etc. and then ship it back to me, I complete the dress and mail your art dress back to you. Ta da... I need some help. I think it is a great idea, I'm just not sure that people will get the idea. So I could really use some help!

Here is the lsiting so far:

Where do I need to edit this listing, what would better be wording for what I want??

In exchange for any suggestions you may have I would love to send you a dress to design for just the cost of the shipping.($5.00) with hope I can photograph the finished dress also. To help the pictures of the listing.

  2. I think this is a really cute idea! You should maybe include a jpeg with some fabric pictures so people can see which ones you have in stock, or maybe include a link to your blog where you have some fabric pictures posted.

Also, I would definitely recommend you asking your first few customers who do this to agree to let you photograph their dress for your listing so you have a variety of ideas for other customers.

Last, where do I sign up! I would love to give this a try!!!

  3. I will send you the fabric, Wonderful!! Should I offer other fabric options? I was thinking only solids, so that their artwork will show up? Maybe they would prefer a print? Thanks, for giving me something to consider.
